🌿📚 Visit the Friends Reading Garden! 📚🌿

Have you had a chance to visit the beautiful Friends Reading Garden at the Gold Coast Public Library?

While so many people are enjoying the new Library building, we are also excited to help create welcoming outdoor spaces for our community to enjoy. The Friends Reading Garden is the first of several outdoor spaces taking shape!

Thanks to the generous support of our Friends and donors, comfortable seating has been provided for everyone to relax, read, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. ☀️📖

A special thank you to everyone who participated in our Buy a Brick Program! Your personalized bricks will soon become a lasting part of the Reading Garden.

We are also grateful to the Glen Garden Club for their generous donation of beautiful planters and plantings. Their dedicated members helped make the former Library at 50 Railroad Avenue beautiful for more than 20 years, and we are honored to have their support at our new location.

And be sure to look for the lovely sculpture of a child enjoying a book, generously provided by local artist Dr. Ed Cohen—the perfect addition to this special space! 📚💚

We hope you will stop by, take a seat, and enjoy the Friends Reading Garden!

Come visit, relax, read, and enjoy! 🌿
