Weather Update
For Thursday, a shot of cool air will keep temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s on brisk northwesterly winds despite plenty of sunshine. Friday will become more comfortable as temperatures recover into the 70s statewide with lighter winds, and mostly sunny skies. Winds will pick up again on Saturday, particularly in eastern sections, with temperatures ranging from the mid 60s in the north to the lower 70s in the south under partly sunny skies, with similar conditions for Sunday but a few degrees cooler. Monday will be partly cloudy with scattered showers as a disturbance moves south from Canada, with partly sunny, breezy conditions Tuesday. Temperatures both days will continue in the mid 60s to lower 70s. By Wednesday, temperatures will inch upward into the 70s, with 70s and lower 80s along with a few showers late next week before another cold front moves through on the weekend of June 6th. Longer term, the month of June is expected to average slightly above normal in temperature and near normal for precipitation.
