At the end of 2025, the Bartlett Firefighters Association sent out our annual fundraising flyer. Each year, our flyer focuses on a major need within the department. In past years, your generosity has helped us raise funds for our forestry truck and gear, purchase our UTV, and secure the trailer needed to transport it.
Over the last five years, our community, residents, second homeowners, and generous donors have continually answered the call, and we are incredibly grateful for that support.
As many of you know, the Town of Bartlett and surrounding communities have experienced significant flooding in recent years. In response, several members of the Bartlett Fire Department have become Swift Water Rescue trained, while others have completed Swift Water Awareness, Still Water, and Ice Rescue Technician training.
This year’s fundraiser was dedicated to purchasing the specialized equipment needed to safely outfit firefighters performing water rescues. Thanks to your incredible response, we have secured three complete rescue suits, including helmets, personal flotation vests, specialized footwear and gloves, light beacons, and safety throw bags.
With the remaining funds, we will now begin the process of purchasing a small four-person rescue boat to further strengthen our rescue capabilities.
We cannot thank everyone enough for the continued support you show our department. Your generosity directly impacts our ability to serve and protect our community, and we are forever grateful.
