Meet our freshly certified Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors! These individuals went through 26-35 hours of online and hands-on skill practice as they worked to earn their American Red Cross Certification.

These individuals gave up their Memorial Day holiday weekend and their first week of summer vacation to complete these trainings. How dedicated is that?!

They will join their team of coworkers and continue to train and sharpen their skills throughout the summer and will renew their certification again in two years.

Congratulations to all of these hardworking individuals!

It’s Woodbat Weekend at Oak Leaf Park and Mother Nature showed up with some beautiful swimming weather! Come and see us between games from 12:30-8:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. Keep your wristband on and come and go throughout the day. Check out our full concessions stand for all your favorite treats, too! ☀️⚾️

Join us as we recognize the Glencoe Aquatic Center's Class of 2026!

This year we have five staff who will be joining us for the season after graduation on Friday, May 29th.

Assistant Director/Lifeguard: Izzy Good
Summers employed: 2023-present
High school activities/sports: Musical, Dance, Pom, Volleyball, Business Professionals of America, National Honor Society, Chamber Choir, Choir/Band, and Unified
High School achievement: Starting a fundraising program for NHS at GSL to allow us to go to Feed My Starving Children
Plans after graduation: Attending Minnesota State University Mankato to study Business Management and hopes to join the musical there
Most excited about for college: Going on mission trips through the church where I can help those in need while experiencing the beauties of the world
