I can be bitter or I can be better...I choose to be BETTER. I did not win the election. My priority now is to make sure my last 5 months in office are spent making sure the projects I was involved in are set up with the correct city officials to continue well into the future. I will NOT take a mini vacation on the city's dime by attending next month's conference at the Biltmore and the big November conference in Nashville (even though I could go and nobody would complain). I'm going to redirect those funds back to my office so I can use them in ways that benefit the community instead of my personal gain. Of course I wanted to win but I am at peace with the outcome. THANK YOU again to my supporters near and far for all of your kind words, well wishes and hard work during my campaign. I learned a lot about politics and I will definitely share with all of you when the time is right.

I choose to be BETTER!!

p.s. My 8 year old godson wanted a sign for his bedroom in Buckeye. It's the little things that matter most.

I am asking to be elected back onto the city council...not to be re-elected because I was never elected to begin with. I was appointed. I've never made the claim that I was elected. There are people out there who are claiming the opposite. Those people are only trying to confuse and upset you because that's the only thing they can rely on at this point.

I was recently asked why I vote the way I do at council meetings. My votes are based on the factual information that I'm given before the vote. I ask specific questions to get detailed answers. I vote for what I believe is right and not to be with the majority. I vote the way I want to vote and have never been pressured or asked to vote a certain way.
