TYPE OF CASE: Missing/Endangered Subject

PLACE OF OCCURANCE: 1000blk W Riverview Dr

DETAILS: At approximately 1:44am, the Glendale Police Department responded to 1000 block of W Riverview Dr. regarding a report of a missing adult.

Eugeniu Matcin, 31 years old from Illinois, was last seen by family sitting in a hot tub in the rear of the residence around 1:00am. Matcin’s family contacted the police after they were unable to locate him. The Glendale Police Department conducted an extensive land, drone and K-9 search of the surrounding area at the time of the call and again in the morning, with negative results.
A search of the Milwaukee River behind the residence was conducted by the North Shore Fire Department, Milwaukee Fire Department Dive Team, Milwaukee Police Department Harbor Patrol Unit, and the WI DNR, with negative results.
Matcin is approximately 5’07”, 190lbs, with short black hair and a beard, and was last seen wearing red shorts.

K9 Brix had the special opportunity to make an appearance at Andrew Chevrolet here in Glendale for a fundraiser for MADACC providing them food, toys and other goodies! He was also extremely excited to meet Santa who told him he’s been a good boy all year!

Glendale PD K9 Officer Bechler and K9 Brix will be at the event as well!
