🗺️📚 Adventure awaits this summer!

As part of our Summer Reading Program, we're inviting explorers of all ages to join our Geocache Hunt. Adults and teens can use the free Geocaching app to search for hidden treasures throughout our valley, show a photo of yourself taken at a local geocache (Sunny Valley-Canyonville) to the librarian and earn an extra prize ticket!

For our young readers and families, we've hidden special geocache boxes around town! Each cache contains stickers, temporary tattoos, and a word to help you uncover a secret message. You will receive a geocache map when you sign up for Summer Reading at the library, Friday June 19th at 1pm.

Dinosaurs are slowly taking over the library. Summer reading sign ups are Friday 6/19 from
12-2pm.
Our first summer program is a musical storytelling by our long time friend Adam Miller. A performance for all ages. 6/26 at 1pm.

Nearly 57,000 books given away in Douglas County! Thank you Dolly Parton, the DCLA and all our local library supporters. You may sign up a child 0-5 years old at the library during open hours, Wed-Fri 11-4pm, Sat 11-1pm.

We are so proud to partner with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to make sure our community has access to this valuable program. If you would like to help the DCLA fund this program or our Ready Readers program, please consider donating at dclalibraries.org.
