Celebrating 65 incredible years of service, stories, and community.

Today we opened our doors to the same community that welcomed us 65 years ago, proudly sharing this special day alongside the Montrose Library. Together, we honored a legacy built on connection, care, and service to our neighbors.

Here’s to the past that built us, the community that supports us, and the future we continue to grow, side by side. Thank you for being part of our story.

They’re the calm in the chaos. The steady voice when everything else is uncertain.

During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, we honor our Verdugo Fire Communications dispatchers. They answer the call when seconds matter most. As the first line in every emergency, they guide callers through life-saving moments, coordinate resources, and support first responders across 14 agencies with precision and care.

This week, we’ll introduce you to the heroes behind the headsets.

Every tone dropped, every call answered, every life impacted—this is their work.

Thank you for your professionalism, your resilience, and your unwavering commitment to our communities. We are grateful for you today and every day.
