Sweetwater School Sweetwater School is home to a diverse student population in kindergarten through eighth grade with approximately 500 students enrolled.

We have general education classes and self-contained special education classes. Sweetwater provides gifted services, art, music, physical education and optional before-/after-school child care for all grade levels. As the school year comes to a close, yesterday marked our final day with our teaching staff. We gathered together for breakfast to celebrate milestones and achievements of the past year, discuss upcoming summer initiatives, and bid a fond farewell to colleagues moving on to new chapters.

Today, we celebrated the promotion of our 8th-grade class!

Whether our students were with us for one year or nine years, we are incredibly proud of their growth and success during their time at Sweetwater. We hope they take everything they learned about the 7 Habits of Leadership and apply it to all their future endeavors!

We are sending a massive shout-out and a heartfelt thank you to the incredible volunteers from CalvaryPHX!

Recently, this amazing crew spent hours doing some seriously heavy lifting—moving furniture and organizing our space to help us prepare for a major summer project.

This is an incredibly busy time of year for us as we prep for the installation of our brand-new carpet this summer, and we quite literally couldn't have done it without them. We are so incredibly grateful for your time, hard work, and community spirit! 🙌✨

Yesterday, Sweetwater’s special education classes participated in a wonderful Water Day event. The activities provided a fantastic, engaging sensory experience for our student leaders.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated staff, including Ms. Morrison, Mrs. Gorsegner, and Mrs. Hill-Smith, whose hard work and organization made this day such a wonderful success for everyone involved. Last week, we celebrated our amazing teachers, and yesterday, we kept that spirit of gratitude going by honoring our wonderful Principal, Mrs. Smith.

Our Sweetwater Ambassadors took the lead to Seek First to Understand (Habit 5) just how much Mrs. Smith does for us, surprising her with a banner, flowers, and balloons! They even treated her to a special "Tour of Gratitude" across the campus she cares for so deeply.

Every single homeroom joined in the Synergy (Habit 6), creating beautiful posters for their doors to say "Thank You" for the way she supports our students, families, and staff. Mrs. Smith’s favorite moment? Pausing to read the sweet, handwritten notes from our students. 📝✨

Thank you to the Sweetwater community for making last Friday's Parent Lighthouse Family Fun BINGO Night so memorable. From the first "B-12" to the final blackout round, the joy in the room was contagious.

Events like these are only possible because of our dedicated staff and wonderful families. Congratulations to all of our winners—we can't wait to do it again!
