Celebrating National Control Room Workers Day ⚡

On National Control Room Workerds Day, we’re recognizing the dedicated team members who work behind the scenes 24/7 to help keep Glendale powered safely and reliably.

At Glendale Water & Power, our Energy Control Center and Grayson Power Plant Operations teams are the backbone of our electric system, monitoring conditions around the clock, coordinating field crews, managing power flows, and responding quickly to outages and emergencies.

Their work demands technical expertise, quick decision-making, and constant vigilance to ensure reliable service for our community every single day. Today, we thank our Dispatch and Power Plant Operations teams for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving Glendale 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

👏 Join us in recognizing the incredible people working behind the scenes to help power our community.
