🍕🌿 A slice, a sip, and a little garden magic! 🥤🍄

Participants at Loma Alta rolled up their sleeves for a tasty trio making their own pizzas, blending up refreshing smoothies, and building adorable Mini Garden Parfaits complete with edible “soil,” tiny mushrooms, greenery, and a few wiggly garden visitors. 🪱🌱 From savory to sweet, this session had a little something growing for everyone!

Big thanks to our Center Empowerment Families Facilitators Courtney and Marlene for serving up such a fun, hands on afternoon. 💚 And a special shoutout to Department of Arts & Culture for helping us keep planting the seeds for experiences where participants can mix, make, taste, and try something new. 🌱✨

🌊🌻 From under the sea to soaking up the sun! Creativity took us from ocean depths to golden petals at Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall, where participants in Unit S2 turned their canvases into their own little worlds. From sharks cruising through deep blue waters to sunflowers reaching toward the light, every brushstroke told a different story. 🦈☀️🎨

Art facilitator Jose Escobedo helped bring these colorful visions to life, proving there’s no limit to where a blank canvas can take you. 💭🖌️ Big love to Department of Arts & Culture for helping us keep imagination in full bloom, and creativity making waves! 🌊🌻✨

🍓 Berry cute creations and three in a row kind of fun! ❌⭕️✨

Things got fruitfully creative at Pomona Wellness Center as participants designed their own edible arrangements before switching gears for some tic-tac-toe fun! 🍇🍓 From picture perfect bites to a little friendly competition, this session was definitely a win win. 😉

Through Mindful Movements, students will explore gentle stretching, fun movement games, wellness activities, Pilates, mindfulness & more , creating space to move, connect, build confidence, and have FUN! 🧘🏾‍♀️🌈

✨ Who knew thinking inside the box could look this good? 💡🎨

Center Empowerment Families brought a spark of creativity to UCLA’s Prevention Center of Excellence, where UCLA’s internal team turned ordinary shadow boxes into tiny worlds of light, color, and imagination. ✨🌿 Each creation told its own story, with nearly 40 participants putting their personal touch into every glowing detail!

With Center Empowerment Families Facilitators Renee, Briauna, Errin Ulrich, and Serafina Kenwood guiding the creative process, participants had the chance to slow down, create, and let their imaginations light the way. 💛

And a glowing shoutout to Department of Arts & Culture for keeping the creative spark lit and helping art shine in spaces throughout our community! 💡🎨✨

Our Loma Alta Our Spot participants got hands on in the kitchen making warm, cheesy quesadillas paired with fresh homemade guacamole! 🌮💚 Center Empowerment Families Facilitators Raquel & Serafina Kenwood brought everyone together for a delicious day of cooking, creating, and sharing good food.

🌱🍓 A little garden you can actually eat! 🍄✨

At Pomona Wellness Center, Center Empowerment Families Facilitators kay and Courtney helped participants create their own Edible Garden Terrariums! From cookie “soil” and coconut “grass” to strawberry mushrooms, banana logs, and gummy worms, everyone had fun getting hands on and building their own sweet little garden escape. 🌿🍫🪱

🎶🎨 Every album cover has a story…and these stories are personal. 💿✨

At Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall, Center Empowerment Families Art Facilitator Errin Ulrich guided participants in designing their own album cover art inspired by something meaningful or special in their lives. Each piece became a chance to take an idea, memory, or source of inspiration and give it a visual identity, like creating the artwork for the soundtrack of their own story. 🎧🖌️

🪼🌿 Healthy Harvest meets under-the-sea art! 🌿🪼

Participants at San Fernando Child and Family Center created colorful ceramic and fiber art jellyfish wind décor and whipped up delicious healthy paninis during our Healthy Harvest Garden Art & Culinary session. 🎨🥪

Led by Center Empowerment Families Art Facilitators Serafina Kenwood and kay, the session blended color, texture, and fresh flavors for a day of hands on fun. 💚✨ A special thank you to Department of Arts & Culture for helping us keep the arts blooming, growing, and finding new ways to inspire! 🌱🎨
