Public Works staff recently participated in a self-defense workshop hosted in partnership with the Glendale Police Department Training Bureau through our Pave the Way Committee. The training covered situational awareness, personal safety strategies, and practical self-defense techniques, followed by a hands-on session where participants practiced defensive techniques with PD instructors.

A big thank you to the Glendale Police Department for sharing their expertise and helping empower our team with valuable skills and confidence that extend beyond the workplace.
