October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Peoria Firefighters Charities, City of Peoria and the Peoria Fire-Medical Department working together held our annual pink pancake breakfast kick off. This event brings the city departments together supporting the fight against breast cancer. This year’s recipient was able to attend the breakfast and meet our amazing Peoria family as they all jointed together to let Michelle know she is not alone as she lives with the diagnosis. Thank you to all who pre-ordered t-shirts we have completely sold out of men’s & women’s shirts but since a few tank tops left. 100% of this year’s proceeds will be going to Michelle to help her continue her journey.
