Thanks to everyone in our community who helped us make a difference! We raised $7,594 to help the crusade for children this year. Big thanks to those who helped collect and organize fundraisers this year.

❤️ THANK YOU, HARDIN COUNTY ❤️

The Hardin County Fire Chiefs Association would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone across our county who helped make the 73rd Annual WHAS Crusade for Children a tremendous success.

Because of the generosity of our community, an incredible $157,591.37 was raised to support children and families across Kentucky.

Thank you to every community member who stopped at a roadblock, made a donation, attended an event, or supported this cause in any way. Your kindness and generosity continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of children who depend on these services.

We would also like to recognize and thank the firefighters from every department across Hardin County who donated their time, energy, and effort throughout the Crusade season. Whether standing at roadblocks, organizing events, collecting donations, or supporting behind the scenes, your dedication to serving others reflects the very best of our fire service tradition.

This achievement would not have been possible without the partnership between our firefighters and the communities we proudly serve.

We are truly blessed to live in a county filled with compassionate people who consistently step forward to help those in need.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this year's Crusade for Children such a remarkable success.

❤️ Together, we raised $157,591.37.
❤️ Together, we changed lives.
❤️ Together, we proved once again that Hardin County cares.

Ever wonder which fire department would respond to your home in the event of an emergency?

Many residents assume their mailing address determines their responding fire department—but that is not always the case. For example, a property with an Elizabethtown address may actually be located within the Central Hardin Fire Department response district.

Hardin County GIS (Geographic Information Systems) provides an interactive online map that allows residents and property owners to quickly identify which fire district serves their home or business.

Knowing your fire district helps you better understand the emergency services protecting your community and the department that will respond when you dial 911.

You can explore the interactive map here:
