We tested approximately 10 wells to help us determine if nearby activities and facilities may be impacting private drinking water wells. Thank you to the residents who signed up for sampling!

This was a coordinated effort between CDPHE’s VCUP and Solid Waste units to help with the plans and ex*****on of the cleanup. Additionally, CDPHE’s Colorado Brownfields Revolving Loan fund, which assists with the cleanup of unused or underused properties, loaned them $2.4 million to help finance the cleanup.

Congratulations to the team on this award! You can learn more about CDPHE’s VCUP program here:

As of 1/1/17, the hourly rate charged for VCUP review is $140/hour. The Voluntary Cleanup and Redevelopment Program was created in 1994 to facilitate the redevelopment and transfer of contaminated properties.
