Photographer Shawn Bush is coming to Glendo State Park! 📸 🎞️
Come join us in Reading the Landscape: Water, Infrastructure, and North Platte River 🏞️
📍Location: Two Moon Day Use Shelter
⏰ When: Saturday, June 6th at 10am
Join artist and educator Shawn Bush for a relaxed outdoor walk at Glendo State Park that focuses on looking closely at the landscape. The program begins with a short introduction on how photographers pay attention to both natural features and human made structures. Participants will be guided to observe how the river, landscape, and infrastructure connects, using the camera as a tool to slow down and see patterns, structure, and spatial relationships.
Our group will take a guided walk through the park. Along the way, participants will be encouraged to slow down and notice details that are easy to look over. Surrounding land, and how water levels shape what we see.
This program is open to anyone interested in looking more closely at the world around them. No photography experience is required. Participants are welcome to bring a camera or phone, but is not necessary. 60 to 90 minutes long program.
