With classrooms and other school facilities that are nearly 70 years old, GUSD has carefully assessed all local school facilities and identified repairs and upgrades that are needed to keep schools safe, up-to-date, and functioning. To address these repairs, the GUSD Board is considering placing a school facilities improvement bond extension measure on the Nov. 3, 2026 ballot. This measure would not increase tax rates above the amount currently paid. By law, a school facility improvement bond extension measure would be subject to strict fiscal accountability protections, ensuring every penny raised would stay in Glendora and benefit local schools only.
