🗑️ Let’s Talk Trash | Did you receive a Proposition 218 notice in the mail?

👉Here’s what you need to know: The proposed changes primarily affect commercial and multi-family properties (apartments/condos) as they transition to a three-container trash, recycling, and organics system to meet State requirements.

For residential customers, your annual 5% trash rate adjustment takes effect July 1, 2026, as previously approved in 2022. This public hearing would not result in a second residential rate increase this year.

Many residential property owners received the notice because State law requires it to be mailed to all affected property owners before a public hearing.
