Conservative Party of Philipstown

Conservative Party of Philipstown Philipstown Conservative Committee is a political arm of the Conservative Party in the town of Philipstown.

The Conservative Party of Philipstown exists as a virtuous alternative to the other parties. In short, its mission is to restore the founding principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, which will ultimately revive America. While other parties bend in regards to foundational moral issues, the Conservative Party of Philipstown always upholds and advocates in favor of true virtue; nev

er sacrificing principles for political power. For the greatest challenge this nation faces in the coming years is the decline of the moral backbone that held us together and provided us with the answer to the question of what it means to be an American. Those we choose to represent us as leaders cannot be trusted as having our best interests at heart if they so easily abandon these core ideals. The Conservative Party of Philipstown: restoring founding principles, roadblocking progressivism, and reviving America.

Thank God they found the WSO from the downed F-15. Injured and alive.

Thank God for the CSAR folks who do what they do. These are the best of the best in our military. Take a look at this article and blessed be the peacemakers.

I heard about this man Padre Pro and the 100 year anniversary of the Cristero War in Mexico. Truly fascinating. Especially all of the martyrs.

One has to admit that it doesn't take a lot for things to get out of hand, even with the best of intentions. Mexico during the 1920s under their constitution and later the Calles Law intended on limiting the role of religious influence on government and eventually society. Within a few years the government was executing dissidents and attempting to contain a guerilla war.

This is one of the things Ben Franklin warned against that we can have a republic if we can keep it. Meaning that we need to have restraint in our public law and that without proper restraint things can get out of hand fairly quickly.

I fear we have become very complacent and we saw greater movement in this direction in the four years following COVID for the same reasons stated in the Mexican example, its always in the name of protecting the citizens, mostly from being offended. Of course Its not limited to only those years as progressive policymakers have attempted and enacted over the past 100 years here and in Europe a number of laws that have disproportionately affected religious organizations while being somewhat camouflaged as broad initiatives that restrict all charitable organizations. Such as the inability to speak politically from the pulpit without risk of losing tax protections, a complete violation of the first amendment.

While more glaring examples can be seen in Europe where the population is more secular and people seem to have an appetite for compliance with the tyrannical. People are prevented from outward expression of religious beliefs in public, so there is no toleration of street proselytizing with any speech that can be considered offensive, in some countries people are fired for openly wearing religious jewelry, and of course the worst is the UK with its outright arresting and prosecuting people for merely praying outside of abortion clinics.

Unfortunately, our culture and progressive left tends to follow their lead and as greater numbers of our population are secular it is certainly a concern for future America. All in all, the lesson is that we must always be vigilant to ensure the first amendment is not to be eroded over time to pursue freedom from religion rather than what it expressly states therein, there can be "No Law prohibiting the free exercise thereof".

Who is John Galt?

Yes NY you have outdone yourself again it only took 7 years to put another notch in your belt for team Beelzebub.

New York is:
anti-life

New Yorkers struggling with mental health crises are told to call 988, the suicide-prevention hotline. But on February 6, Governor Kathy Hochul signed the Medical Aid in Dying Act into law, authorizing doctors to prescribe lethal drugs to terminally ill patients. The message is stark: some lives mus...

I think we said something about this in the past. Maybe even time and time again...

Legalization of drugs including ma*****na was a major mistake. To think this same organization at NYT called for legalization, not 13 years ago, saying that it would not lead to greater use is now changing their collective minds. Use is up significantly since legalization.

How do we get the Genie back in the bottle?

Given the growing harms from ma*****na use, American lawmakers should do more to regulate it.

Its not just Obergefell, but this is a good and correct place to start to regain the ground that was lost and to thwart the continuing advance to destroy the family.

No fault divorce has to be the next thing to fall if this is successful. It cannot continue to stand.
