We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Past Assistant Chief Ron Immel. Ronnie joined GMFC in 1979. If you have been in the Fire or EMS Service in Chester County, chances are you crossed paths with Ron along the way. He was always smiling and had his way of making you laugh. It’s obvious by all the Facebook posts, Ronnie had a positive impact on so many people. We will remember Ron for his tireless dedication to public safety and putting others before himself. Rest easy Ron.

We would like to thank the Glen Moore Fire Company for inviting the Alerts and Minquas to participate in the weekly training at an acquired structure in Wallace Twp., this evening.
Tonight 39 crews traveled to Glenmoore to train in an acquired structure on primary search in a limited visibility environment as well as throwing ladders to windows on the exterior of buildings. Crews were able to get through multiple evolutions with different scenarios. A huge thanks to Glen Moore Fire Company for allowing us access to the building as well as Thorndale Fire Company and Clubroom and Minquas Fire Company No. 2 for covering our coverage area while the company was training. If this looks exciting or interesting to you you can come up to the station on Thursday nights between 7-9 pm and inquire about volunteer positions with our company. There are many different positions within our organization and can always use a helping hand!
This afternoon we picked up a few of the vehicles that were used in this weekends training at Glen Moore Fire Company.

Thanks to those of you that contacted us with vehicles. A few more are still needed for next weekends training. Please call 610-458-5879 and we will arrange to pickup your junk vehicle!
Have a junk car to get rid of? Let us know and we will transport it at no charge to Glen Moore Fire Company for training. We need at least 6 more cars for a training event in March. Please contact us asap!
I just want to thank the Glenmoore Fire Department for their excellent response to my recent kitchen catastrophe. I did something stupid and their professional and kind manner was so reassuring. With all the news of horrendous fires, I am thankful for the quick thorough response and kindness. (they even brought a tanker truck because we don't have fire hydrants) Special thanks to Mary McCabe, an old friend who tested my oxygen level. I loved to see the women volunteers as well. Thank you again!
Congratulations and welcome back to Glen Moore Fire Company in Chester County PA, on their purchase of a Pierce Enforcer Stainless Steel Engine! Delivery is expected the summer of 2023. We appreciate your confidence in Glick Fire Equipment and Pierce Mfg !
On Monday, January 3rd, 2022, at 4:18 PM The Lionville Fire Company (47) along with The West Whiteland Fire Company (6), Glen Moore Fire Company (48), Ludwigs Corner Fire Company (73), East Brandywine Fire Company (49), and Uwchlan Ambulance Corps (87) were dispatched to the unit block of East Township Line Road in Uwchlan Township for a house fire.

As fire apparatus were responding, The Chester County 911 Center was receiving supplemental information indicating that the fire was in the basement and quickly spreading. Additionally, The Uwchlan Township Police Department arrived and confirmed a "working fire" in the basement of the residence.

Engine 47-2 arrived with smoke coming from the basement and first floor and requested The Working Fire Dispatch which alerted for additional resources to the scene including The Chester County Fire Marshal's Office. Crews stretched an attack line to the exterior basement doors and began fire extinguishment. Engine 6-1 arrived next and laid a supply line from a fire hydrant to the fire scene, crews then deployed a secondary attack line to assist with extinguishment. Tower 47 and Ladder 6 arrived moments later and were assigned to assist with searching the residence to ensure all occupants were out.

As additional personnel arrived, they assisted with various tasks on the fire ground including ventilation and overhaul.

Lionville Volunteers operated at the scene for approximately 2 hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation by The Chester County Fire Marshal's Office.

Thank you for all that you do!
Thank you to Glen Moore Fire Company and our other local fire departments for coming out to help students learn about fire prevention this week!
This morning Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company responded to a LAR call with Glen Moore Fire Company to assist in a horse rescue.
Tanker 73 is assisting the Wagontown Fire Company on a 2 alarm house fire.

At 3:32pm LCFC Volunteers we’re dispatched for a station stand by to cover the Glen Moore Fire Company while they operated at the same incident as well.
Tonight just after 9 pm we were called to Manor Road and Creek Road for two vehicles after an accident. Paul Jr responded and was on scene within five minutes, as he responded from his house nearby. We were able to move the van out of the roadway into a nearby parking lot. Glen Moore Fire Company helped by sweeping the large amount of debris from the roadway. We then used our wrecker to winch the Toyota back to the roadway and to move it to the parking lot as well. Police and Fire were able to open the roadway and clear the scene. Paul Sr and Paul Jr loaded and secured the vehicles and transported them back to our storage facility.

Thank you the crew at Glenmoore Fire Company for the help on scene!
