Those who know me, know I love football season. The welcome entrance of the cool, crisp Fall air. The smell of food grilling. The energy of an entire community concentrated in one stadium seemingly in the middle of nowhere.
In House District 157 and all across Rural Georgia, Friday nights are the culmination of a long week of work.
For me this field on Battle Creek in Tattnall County is a constant reminder of why I'm running for State House. I grew up on these fields, many of the same fans cheered for me, and they deserve to representation that competes for them in the State House, like these young Warriors do every Friday Night.
To all our area schools and football teams, cheerleaders, and bands, I pray you have a safe and successful season. To House District 157, the game is just beginning, it's time to fight, and it's time to WIN!
