We are SO grateful for everything that Pine Knolls Alliance Church did for us last week during their Genuine Love Sunday!

Not only did they move our shed and paint almost every interior room, they also redid our porch - ensuring that our building is welcoming and accessible to all of our families 🩵

Thank you so much!

Last week, our team had a blast at the Warren Washington Counties Brainstorm Chalk the Walk event!

For the 5th anniversary of the event, it focused on art and its role with mental wellness, so we got to walk around and read about the intersection of these by learning about a few famous artists’ stories with mental health. Such an interesting and informative addition to the event this year, and we hope plenty of our supporters were able to come out for it as well!

It’s an honor to be involved not only in this event, but also the Brainstorm committee, and we so look forward to our October event, and Chalk the Walk next year!💙💚

Thank you SO MUCH to Sophi and her family for thinking of us and collecting items for our organization! This will allow us to hand out personal care items, clothing, games and more to families coming through our building when needed, which we are so grateful to be able to do. 💙

It means a lot to us for community members, especially students, to think of us when there is an opportunity to donate or spread the word about an organization.

We'll make sure all the donations are put to use - keep doing good work Sophi!

Storytime with a Police Officer was so much fun! We had a great time talking with the officers and learning a bit about what they do, reading a story, and sharing some snacks! Our participants even got to learn about how fingerprints are used in investigations, but how they also keep kids safe, and did a fun fingerprinting activity!

A HUGE thank you to both officers, Detective Warrington at City of Glens Falls PD and Officer C**n and K9 Hutch from the Warren County Sheriff's Office NY. We appreciate both of you coming out for our event and talking to the kids!

Thank you also to Crandall Public Library for hosting us for the second year! We had a great time again, and we so appreciate everything the library does for our community!

Our snacks this year were also graciously donated by Flour Child Bakery - thank you for the delicious cookies! They were AWESOME!

And thanks to all the families that came out to see us and take part in our event! It's so great for us to get out in the community, especially with the help of so many of our partners!

Today at 4:15! See you there!

Did you know April is Child Abuse Prevention Month?

The blue pinwheel is a national symbol for child abuse prevention. If you drove by or stopped by Warren County Municipal Center in recent days, you will see the blue pinwheel display at the front entrance.

Pinwheels represent innocence and reflect the bright future all children deserve. The pinwheel is a positive emblem of the effect we can have when we work together to prevent child abuse.

Whether you listen, provide care, provide support to parents or provide a safer environment for a child you are all taking steps to help protect the life of a child and make their future a little brighter.

We will be at SUNY Adirondack from 12-2 today for the college’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month Resource Fair! Come say hi if you’re on campus 🩵

While April is Child Abuse Awareness Month, it is also Sexual Assault Awareness, which is just as important to organizations like ours, and the community - we always want to be around to provide our resources to children, students, and parents, because everyone deserves to feel safe.
