vestigations. It has been a non-profit agency serving children and families impacted by child abuse for the past 21 years. A Child Advocacy Center represents a nationally recognized model by which a community responds to child abuse allegations. The New York State Police reminds parents and caregivers to think twice before sharing back-to-school photos online.

That first-day-of-school photo is a moment worth sharing but make sure you’re only sharing what you intend.

Protect your child’s identity, location and routine by taking a second look before you post. When it comes to online safety, the details matter.

We'll see you this weekend!

Don't forget to come down to The Hyde Collection's Community Day this Sunday!

We will be there with our partners at Ascend Mental Wellness running our second ever Color Outside the Lines, an opportunity for our community to make a mess - on purpose! Our interactive activity promotes mental wellness in collaboration with making art, throwing sponges, spraying water guns, or using bubbles all with paint on the giant canvas.

While you’re there, we’ll also be collecting in-kind donations of gift cards to support local youth we serve with back-to-school needs. Beyond traditional school supplies, many students need support with the essentials that help them fully participate in school for things like food, transportation, clothing, and materials for academics, sports, and extracurricular activities.

Skip the easels and paintbrushes this weekend, stop by Community Day and paint with us!

Less than one week!

Get ready to unleash your creativity during a playful, hands-on art experience!
Let's Color Outside the Lines: forget the rules and let your imagination lead the way as youth and families work together to create a collaborative community masterpiece using water guns, bubble wands, paintbrushes, and whatever else inspires you to get creative.

In just one week, we'll be joining our community partner, Ascend Mental Wellness for Color Outside the Lines, at The Hyde Collection's Community Day on Sunday, August 2nd from 10:30AM to 2:00PM.

Through art, play, and self-expression, Color Outside the Lines celebrates the connection between creativity and mental health and wellness, creating opportunities to reduce stress, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and simply enjoy the moment together.

While you're there, we invite you to help support local youth by bringing a gift card donation for back-to-school needs benefiting children and families served through ASCEND's Health Home Care Management program and Warren Washington CARE Center.

Suggested gift cards include:
• Walmart
• Stewart's Shops & Cumberland Farms
• Dick's Sporting Goods
• Staples
• Hannaford & Price Chopper | Market 32

These donations help reduce barriers for youth by supporting essential needs like transportation, clothing, food, school supplies, and opportunities to participate in sports, clubs, and other enriching activities.

The Hyde Collection's Community Day is free and open to children, families, and community members of all ages. Come create, connect, and help make a positive impact in the lives of local youth.

While our community activity will run until 2:00PM, Community Day will run until 4:00PM.
