shelves! Join us for Farmers Market Summer Stock
Day and help stock the Northfield Township Food
Pantry with personal hygiene products and cleaning
supplies, everyday essentials that often aren't covered
by SNAP or other assistance programs. Some of the
most helpful items for our community are:

Shampoo and conditioner, body wash, toothpaste and
toothbrushes, deodorant, feminine hygiene products,
diapers and baby wipes, razors and shaving cream,
laundry detergent, dish soap, all-purpose cleaner,
paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and disinfecting
wipes.

Every donation helps a neighbor this summer. 🧺 💚

📚 Back-to-school season is officially here! 🎒

Yesterday, Northfield Township had the pleasure of joining Glenview School District 34 for its Back to School Resource Fair. It was a great opportunity to connect with students & families, introduce residents to Township services, and celebrate the start of another school year together.

We’re grateful to D34 for bringing so many community organizations together to make sure families have the resources and support they need for a successful year ahead.

Wishing all of our local students, families, teachers, and school staff a happy and successful school year! 🍎✏️

This week, we're giving a huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Northbrook for their incredible generosity to our Food Pantry!

Every first meeting of the month, Rotary members shop for items straight from our Most Needed list and bring their donations directly to the pantry, making sure our shelves stay stocked with exactly what our neighbors need most.

This kind of consistent, thoughtful support makes a real difference in our community. Thank you, Rotary Club of Northbrook, for your continued partnership and generosity! 🙌

Join us for Farmers Market Summer Stock Day and help stock the Northfield Township Food Pantry with personal hygiene products and cleaning supplies, everyday essentials that often aren't covered by SNAP or other assistance programs. Thank you to everyone who joined Northfield Township Supervisor Shiva Mohsenzadeh yesterday at the League of Women Voters Glenview-Glencoe's "Know Your Local Government" program at the Glenview Public Library!

Supervisor Mohsenzadeh appreciated the opportunity to connect with residents, share information about Township government, and highlight the many programs and services available to support our community. We appreciate everyone who took the time to attend, asked thoughtful questions, and engaged in the conversation.

A special thank you to the League for inviting the Township to participate and the Library for hosting this informative community event. We were grateful for the opportunity!

🎒 Happy Back to School Month! 🎒

As summer winds down and a new school year begins, Northfield Township is proud to celebrate by supporting these Human Services Funding Program partner agencies that help local children and families start the year on the right foot:

📚 Wesley Child Care Center – Early childhood education and childcare for our youngest learners
💬 Youth Services – Counseling, prevention, and intervention programs for young people
🎓 Gelfand Foundation – Emergency assistance including school supply support for families in need
🏠 Northwest Compass – Family stabilization services that help keep children in stable school environments

Every child deserves a strong start. These organizations work tirelessly to make sure no family in our community has to face the new school year alone. 🌟
