Yesterday, members of the Glenville Police Department had the opportunity to visit the Glenville Senior Center for a Coffee with a Cop event. Even Where's Waylon made a special appearance!

It was a great opportunity to connect with community members, answer questions, discuss local concerns, and have meaningful conversations in a relaxed setting. We appreciate everyone who took the time to join us and look forward to continuing to build strong relationships within our community.

Thank you to the Glenville Senior Center for hosting us!

๐Ÿพ Waylon recently visited Cub Scout Pack 3020 to teach scouts about the Glenville Police Departmentโ€™s Comfort Canine Program!

The scouts learned about Waylonโ€™s important role in supporting our community, helping people during stressful situations, and providing comfort to those in need. Waylon also enjoyed meeting the scouts and showing off some of his skills. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’™

Thank you to Cub Scout Pack 3020 for inviting us and for your interest in learning more about our program and community policing efforts!

Last week, Sgt. Goyer and Officer Brino visited Scotia-Glenville High School and Niskayuna High School to speak with students about the dangers of unsafe driving behaviors.

The presentation focused on several types of dangerous driving, including aggressive, distracted, and impaired driving. Officer Brino, who is also a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), gave students a hands-on experience by having them participate in field sobriety tests while wearing impairment simulation goggles.

We would also like to thank SRO Paluba, SRO Ecker from Scotia-Glenville, and SRO Maura from Niskayuna for assisting with the program and helping educate students on the importance of making safe and responsible choices behind the wheel.
