Mark your calendars!!! National Night Out will be Tuesday, August 4th from 4pm to 7pm. Families, come out for an evening of lots of fun and activities. We will have activities for ALL age groups this year!

If you are an organization, business, group, etc that is interested in setting up, you must contact the Gilmer County FRN for a registration form. We are asking that everyone setting up offer an activity and if possible, a school supply at their tables. Last year we had over 40 amazing partners that were able to come. We are hoping this year will be bigger, and registration forms help us with organizing. Registration forms are due by June 30th, 2026.

Safe Baby Tip of the Week

You don’t have to have all the answers right away.

Getting to know your baby takes time.
What works one day might not work the next. And that doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong—it just means you’re both still learning each other.

Over time, you start to notice the small things.
The way their cry sounds when they’re tired.
The little cues that tell you what they need.

That connection builds slowly.

And the more you trust yourself in those moments, the more confident and calm you’ll feel caring for your baby.
