It’s EMS Week!
A huge thank you to our crew at Glidden Area Ambulance Service.
Thank you for the long days, late nights, missed sleep, and for always showing up when people need help most. This job isn’t always easy, but our team continues to serve our community with compassion, dedication, and heart every single day.
We appreciate everything you do... on the ambulance, behind the scenes, and for each other. We’re lucky to have such an amazing group serving our area.

Please do not burn right now. Dry conditions and wind can make fires spread fast, and one small burn can quickly turn into a dangerous situation.
Help keep our communities and responders safe by holding off on any burning until conditions improve. Please don’t put our firefighters and emergency responders in a bad position. Stay safe and spread the word.

❄️ Winter Weather Reminder ❄️
With the snow moving in, this is a reminder to avoid traveling if you don’t need to. Roads can become dangerous quickly.
Please help keep our EMTs, firefighters, and police officers safe and give plow drivers time and space to work!

If you need supplies, grab them tonight and plan to stay home tomorrow.
Also take a moment to check in on your neighbors, especially elderly or those who may need a little extra help.

Our EMS service is 100% volunteer, and we need more help.
Calls don’t stop, emergencies don’t wait, and the same few people can’t carry it forever.

A First Responder class starts next week. It’s one night a week, and volunteering is flexible—there is no set schedule.
If you’re able and willing to help when your neighbor needs it most, now is the time.

Interested? Send us a message. Training starts soon.

Classes take place at a physical location. Times are set by the instructor and meet regularly each week. May include online content.
