City of Globe Community Center Pool The City of Globe Community Center Pool Facility has been a cherished hub for residents since its inception in the mid-1950s.

This beloved pool and community center were made possible by the dedicated efforts of the community, who rallied together to raise the necessary funds. Over the years, the Community Center became the recreation hub of the region, providing a place for fun, relaxation, and social gatherings. However, in 2014, the pool was forced to close due to significant leakage issues. After nearly a decade, in

2023, the pool reopened with modern amenities, including two exciting waterslides, an updated bathhouse, and a vibrant new splash pad. This rejuvenation of the facility was once again a testament to the community's strength and unity, restoring this vital recreational resource. The successful reopening of the pool would not have been possible without the generous support and contributions from the City of Globe, Arizona Complete Health, BHP, Capstone Pinto Valley, Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center, First Interstate Bank, Freeport McMoRan, Gila County, and the United Fund of Globe-Miami. Their combined efforts have ensured that the Community Center Pool Facility remains a cornerstone of the region for generations to come.

While you're enjoying the Community Center Pool, help us keep everyone safe by remembering:

💦 Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times inside the facility.

💦 Parents and guardians must remain on site during their child's visit.
Waiting in the car or leaving the facility is not permitted.

💦 Walking around the pool helps prevent slips and injuries.

Community Center Swim Lessons Are Here!

Registration for swim lessons is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must have an active Annual Family Membership or Monthly Family Membership, and all membership fees must be paid prior to the start of lessons. (Memberships ARE available!)

Each lesson session consists of three 30-minute classes held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

During each session, four swim levels (age/skill groups) will be offered, with a maximum of eight participants per level.

Available Swim Levels
Tadpoles (6 mo - 3 yrs old) - Parents must be in the water - 6:15 - 6:45 PM
Goldfish, 2nd Level (7 - 9 yrs old) - 4:00 - 4:30 PM
Guppies (2-6yrs old) - Must be comfortable in the water w/out parent) - 4:45 - 5:15 PM
Starfish, 1st Level, Beginners (5-8yrs old) - 5:30-6:00 PM

Session Dates
Session 1: June 16, 17, & 18
Session 2: June 23, 24, & 25
Session 3: July 14, 15, & 16

💦👶 Mommy & Toddler Mornings at the Globe Community Pool! 👶💦

Wednesdays and Fridays are extra special at the Globe Community Pool!

From 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM, children 5 years old and under can enjoy the zero-depth entry area and splash pad all to themselves. No slides, no big crowds—just a fun, safe, and relaxing space for little ones to splash, play, and make new friends.

It’s the perfect opportunity for moms, dads, grandparents, and caregivers to connect, organize play dates, and enjoy a peaceful morning at the pool.

🏊 Lap Swimming will take place on the opposite side of the pool from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM.
