We are hosting our 3rd Annual “Chalk The Walks” event on Monday, September 7, 2026 at all three Gloucester City schools (Gloucester City High School, Gloucester City Middle School and Cold Springs School) from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Weather permitting.

This is a great way to welcome not only your student but all of our students back to school.

Our superintendent along with the CSS and Middle school principals support and look forward to this event.

Chalk and stencils will be provided.

Please take a few minutes to come out on the 7th to write messages for GCSD students.

The support we have received so far has been incredible, and I truly want to say thank you. Every conversation, every message, every share, and every word of encouragement means more than you know.

One of the questions I have been hearing a lot lately is: “How can I help?”

There are many ways to be part of Team Cilurso,

1. Put a yard sign on your lawn (coming soon)
2. Join us for door knocking and help us meet more of our neighbors
3. Like, follow and share our campaign posts to help spread the word
4. Volunteer with the campaign, there’s a role for everyone
5. Talk to your friends, family and neighbors about why you are supporting Ed
6. And most importantly, make a plan to vote

This campaign has always been about bringing people together and building an even stronger future for Gloucester City. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, and would love to have you alongside us.

You have to ask the question.
If the Republican Party Chairman feels there was election fraud during the 2024 local council elections why did he not address it then and ask for a recount or express his concerns with the board of elections? If there were issues at the polling places there are equal representation from both parties at every polling place.

Seven Hardcopies of the attached letter were hand delivered to city hall 2 weeks ago, including a cover sheet specifically marking them as official communication to Mayor & Council from the Gloucester City Republican Committee.

While any other such communications to Mayor & Council are, by nature, included in the next Council Meeting agenda, this particular piece of communication did not make it on Monday’s agenda. Anyone surprised? We’re not.

The party that beats their chest about loving democracy— the party actually NAMED the Democratic Party —can’t be found when democracy isn’t tilted in their favor.

With the growing impact of the State’s election integrity failures still being uncovered, it’s unacceptable that our Governing Body is silent in even acknowledging receipt of this communication.

** UPDATED TRAFFIC AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR 8/31/26 **

On Monday, August 31, 2026 from 6:00 pm - 1:00 am the following streets will be closed to both traffic and parking:

-Hudson Street between Sussex St & King St will be closed to all traffic and there will be no parking.
- N. Burlington St between Middlesex St and Bergen Street will be closed to all traffic and there will be no parking on either side of the street.

The parking lot at the corner of N. Burlington St and Hudson St will also be closed for parking.
