Secretary Zrike sat down with more than a dozen multicultural media outlets this week for a back-to-school roundtable discussion at DESE’s offices in Everett. 🎥 🎤

Zrike was joined by the commissioners of early education and care, higher education and elementary and secondary education, as well as the executive director of the Children’s Trust to listen, answer questions and build stronger connections with the communities they serve. 🤝🎙️

Son Teddy is starting the 8th grade, daughter Hannah is heading into 11th grade, and wife Ellen is entering her 23rd year as an educator 👏, kicking things off this week in her 5th-grade inclusion classroom in Andover Public Schools. 🎈📚
