Yesterday, colleagues across the county tuned in from their workspaces for a virtual chef demo featuring healthy greens, fresh salmon, and a touch of honey. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and GloCo employees took time yesterday during their lunch break to focus on emotional well-being with a virtual floral arranging class sponsored by Cigna. A huge thank you to Senior HR Analyst Heather Kelley, who organized the event, AND to the 40+ employees who attended from departments across the County. It was an event "rooted" in fun and gave us all the chance to "bloom and grow" together! 🌷

We are hiring a Chief Financial Officer!

The CFO is responsible for the administration and operations of the Finance, Central Purchasing and Real Estate Assessment Departments.

The CFO prepares a wide variety of periodic and special financial and statistical reports, leads and manages the County’s annual budget development process and oversees implementation of the same; performs ongoing budget monitoring and trends analysis, prepares and produces the County’s Annual Budget and 5-year Capital Improvement Plan documents, and works with outside auditors in the development, preparation and production of the County’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.

The CFO reports to the County Administrator.
