Take charge of your water quality! Virginia Cooperative Extension offers affordable water testing clinics across the state through the Virginia Household Water Quality Program.

$70/sample kit (subsidized kits may be available)
Tests for: Coliform bacteria, E. coli, lead, copper, arsenic, hardness, pH, nitrate, sulfate, fluoride, and more!

XTRA 99.1 FM presented its 14th annual XTRA Home & Garden Showcase last Saturday at the Gloucester Moose Lodge, giving visitors a chance to speak with vendors about a number of home improvement project ideas now that spring is here. For many people, the return of spring means the return of spring planting and Gloucester Master Gardeners were on hand to offer advice for getting back into the yard.
