The footbridge is repaired.. we have been buzzing with beachgoers the last few days, and fathers day weekend looks very warm with forecasted temps into the 80°s and 90°s next week Monday / Tuesday... water temps slowly coming up 61°f currently.. still a bit cool but so refreshing.. enjoy as we are now officially into summer....

Please Beach Bums respect their wishes and stay away from this roped off and fenced in Area by the 3RD Boardwalk ....200ft or so.....Thank You...GHB

We were notified tonight of a delicate situation on Good harbor beach ... A rare species that has found a home on our beach..The 3rd Boardwalk area is roped off and their asking that u please stay away from that area, and keep all pets on their leashes....there have been beaches closed due to this exact same reason, but from what i was told due to economics comming into the City Of Gloucester for beach and summer season , the beach will be remained open ...i will be donig a live FB Report from the area of interest at 12:30 pm...i will have more information at that time....just respect the Citys wishes along with the Ma Environmental Police , GPD, And Ma Dept Of Wild life & Fisheries , Ma Audubon...thank you....G'nite.....

Was a great beach day at GHB.....even a few beachgoers traversed the cool atlantic waters... next week beach bums looks good esp thur through sun .... Safe travels home...and have a great evening.

Beach Season has begun....beautiful Sunny day temps 60°s at beaches , UV Index 8 ..... water temps 51°f.....dont forget to use sunscreen ....enjoy it today if you have today off....GHB.....

Message to Beach Bums ...
3:45pm 7•12•15 .... We realize it's Hot & Humid And That Tempers Will Flare .. But We Ask You To Respect The Natives On The Island , And That You Do Not Drive Dangerously / Or Pick Fights Over Traffic.. We Are All Human , Please Today Has Been One Hellish Nightmare.. If We All Work Together And Focus On Safety Everything Will Go Smoothly ... Also Please Do Not Leave Your TRASH!!!! All Over The Beach , Or On Public Roads , Natives Are Not To Happy , And You Can Bet They Will Call The Authorities And Or Have You Towed ... Respect And I Can Almost Guarantee You Everything Will Be Fine ...One Other Note , Please Do Not Drive Down The Wrong Side Of The Roads , That's Very Dangerous .. Be Patient And Go With The Traffic Flow ... If Everyone Can Focus On This The Day Will Turn Out So Well ....
