Hello Page Middle School Families,

It has been another great week at Page Middle School. Our students and staff are settling into routines. Our Lady Eagles Field Hockey and Volleyball teams had their first games. And we get to end our week with a four day weekend. Find some time this weekend to get out and do something that you and your family enjoy.

Here are some updates and reminders for next week:

No School Friday, September 4th.

No School Monday, September 7th.

Calling all young performers! We're holding auditions for the Page MS's Cabaret Broadway Showcase, and we want YOU on stage. Whether you love acting, singing, or dancing, this is your moment to shine. No experience needed - just bring your energy and creativity! If you have questions, please see Mrs. Scalf in room A103 for more information. Tryouts will be Saturday, September 12th from 9am to 3pm.

GHS Varsity Football Home Game: All middle school students may attend GHS athletic events only when accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult at least 18 years of age. Middle school students may not be dropped off unaccompanied to attend any GHS athletic event.

We highly recommend that you consider purchasing ChromeBook insurance for your student’s issued device in case of accidental breakage. The cost is $20 and can be paid through SchoolCash Online. https://gcps.schoolcashonline.com/

Please feel free to reach out to our main office with any questions you may have.

We are so glad that you all come to school everyday! Go Eagles!

Congratulations to our very own Deputy Johnson on his recent promotion to Sergeant!

For the past five years, Sergeant Johnson has dedicated his service to Page Middle School as our School Resource Officer. His mentorship, steady presence, and the trust he built with our students will last a lifetime. The impact he has made on our school has been nothing short of incredible, and his commitment to our Page Middle community has been felt in every hallway, classroom, and conversation.

With his promotion comes a new assignment at Botetourt Elementary. While we will be very sad to see him go, we are incredibly proud of all he has accomplished and deeply grateful for the years he spent supporting and uplifting our students and staff.

Page now welcomes an amazing SRO Deputy Carter! She exemplifies the mission of a School Resource Officer: to uphold school safety and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students. Deputy Carter is an outstanding SRO, and we are so thankful to welcome her to the Page Middle School team.

Sergeant Johnson will always be an Eagle, even if his new home is technically a doghouse.
