Tomorrow is our first field trip of the summer as we head to Fulton County Youth Day!

Please remember:

A Youth Day field trip permission slip is required for your child to attend. If you're unsure whether you've turned it in, please check with our staff.

Pack a lunch.

Send a refillable water bottle.

We're excited for a fun-filled day with all of our campers!

Today was orientation day for our staff! Final touches are being added to the center for opening day on Monday! We can’t wait to see all our returning and new campers soon. We have so many fun activities and trips planned this year. We are all looking forward to making great memories this summer!

🌞 Help Us Make Summer Special for Gloversville Kids! 🌞

The City of Gloversville Summer Recreation Program is a completely FREE program offered to families within the Gloversville Enlarged School District, providing a safe, fun, and engaging place for 72 children each day throughout 8 weeks of summer break.

From 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, our staff works hard to create a summer full of activities, friendships, creativity, and memories for local children in our community. ❤️

While our program budget helps cover staffing, we rely heavily on donations to provide the supplies that make this program truly special — things like sports equipment, outdoor games, arts & crafts supplies, activities, and everyday items that keep 72 kids active and engaged all summer long.

We’ve created an Amazon Wishlist with items that directly support the program, and if you’re in a position to help, any donation — big or small — makes a real difference.

By contributing, you’re helping ensure that every child in our community has access to a summer filled with fun, learning, and positive experiences, regardless of their family’s financial situation.

Applications are now available for the Gloversville Summer Recreation Program!

2026 Program Dates: July 6 - August 28

This FREE program is open to 72 children ages 5–12 who reside within the Gloversville Enlarged School District. Camp will run for 8 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Applications can be picked up in the City Clerk's Office or found online here:https://cityofgloversvilleny.gov/.../05/2026-Application.pdf

✔️ Spots are first come, first served.
✔️ Must include proof of residency and immunization records to be considered complete.
✔️ Applications and supporting documents must be turned into the City Clerk's Office within City Hall; 3 Frontage Road.
