Berkshire Volunteer Fire Department is holding their Second Annual Firefighters Challenge August 1st.
We are looking for teams of four Firefighters to participate.
Message our department's page (tagged above)your address so we can send out the registration form.
All entries and entry fee must be recieved by July 20th.

Berkshire Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank Fat Bellies for the donation of pizza to our members. This was a nice surprise as we cleaned our equipment to get quickly back in service.

At 1:58 Berkshire Volunteer Fire Department was activated for a working structure fire. Upon arrival Pleasant Square Fire Company and Mayfield Fire Department - New York were requested to the scene with tankers and interior firefighters. Lake Valley EMS was on standby for rehab.
The fire did extend into the roof but the fire was quickly under control, no one was injured and animals were saved.
Berkshire would like to extend a huge Thank You to all our members, our Auxiliary ladies, our mutual aid departments and the Fulton County Emergency Management / Fire Coordinators Office county coordinators.
