After speaking to the photographers and we are concerned Mother Nature is not going to be kind today for the photo equipment. Pictures will be moved to the backup indoor location of Faith Lutheran Church (6809 Godfrey Rd, Godfrey, IL 62035).

As of right now, games are on as scheduled and the site supervisor will make the call closer to your game time start!🥎⚾️

☀️🌡️ Heat Policy Reminder 🌡️☀️

With summer temperatures arriving, we wanted to remind everyone of our heat policy for Riverbend Baseball and Softball games.

⚾🥎 Heat Delay/Cancellation Guidelines

🔴 Heat Index of 105° or Higher
• Games will be postponed.

🟠 Heat Index of 100°–104°
• Games will be shortened.
• Baseball/Softball games will be limited to 1 hour 30 minutes.
• No new inning will begin after 1 hour 15 minutes.

🟢 Heat Index of 99° or Lower
• Games will be played at their normal length.

📣 Please remember: Any game cancellations, postponements, or heat-related schedule changes will typically be announced no earlier than 4:00 PM. Our staff monitors weather conditions and heat indexes throughout the day to make the safest and most informed decision possible.

As always, coaches will be notified first, followed by updates on our page and TeamSideline.

⚠️ If your game is being played in Jerseyville, please contact Jerseyville Parks and Recreation directly regarding any cancellations, delays, or weather-related updates, as they make those decisions for games played at their facilities.

BASEBALL PARENTS, IT'S YOUR TURN!! ⚾️☕️🥎 Don't miss out! We have heard your requests and the soccer parents really enjoyed having this coffee duo this past spring soccer season! We’re thrilled to announce a pop-up coffee booth at the Glazebrook Baseball Fields this Saturday, June 6th! Espress Moore LLC, a local mobile coffee cart, will be set up at the fields beginning at 8:00 am! Stop by before, during, or between games for hot or iced specialty coffees, shaken lemonades, iced tea & more. Perfect for players, parents, and fans — come grab a cup, say hi, and support our community and a local business. We will also still have our concession stand available. See you for the first pitch! ⚾️☕️🥎

UPDATE!

ATTENTION: Monday's camp day has been postponed due to the storms and is rescheduled for Wednesday at 9:30am. The UPDATED camp schedule is as follows:
Tuesday: 9:30am
Wednesday: 9:30am

The Alton River Dragons are excited host our 2nd annual youth baseball camp. Last year's camp had over 100 attendees and we'd love your help spreading the word to your players and families.

Both Boys AND Girls are encouraged to attend. Last year's camp featured over a dozen girls and we expect more this year.

This camp is a low-cost alternative to many of the higher-priced ones, and features our players and coaches in a high-energy environment. Players of ALL levels will benefit from those looking for basics, to those who think they are destined to join our guys with college scholarships one day.
