We would like to pass along some information to you. Last night at our regular board meeting we received the news assistant chief Brandon Dalton was retiring from Pope county fire protection due to a very serious back issue and surgery to come ( with the chance to come back when fully healed). Brandon has served with Pope county for 10 years now and has a total of 26 years in the fire service. Brandon is also a lifetime member of the coalbelt association and is also vice president of coalbelt and member of stonefort fire department. We are loosing a tremendous asset to our department and community and would like to thank you for everything you have done for us as a department and for the communities in which you served. We know that with time you will be back sir when you are healed! Please take this time with us to say a prayer for Brandon and his family and take a look at some pictures of some of the best times of our life's in the posted pictures. We thank you for your service sir. You got this brother! from ALL of us at Pope county fire! We know this is temporary buddy! 🇺🇸🤞

Being that it is EMS week we would like to give a shout out to our right hand crew! Pope county ems goes above and beyond to help the community in every way they can and we thank you for having our backs on every call! We are glad to work beside you all!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Williamson county that has been affected by this devastating tornado last night. This just goes to show we are not trying to scare anyone by posting incoming weather we are simply warning you cause this can happen anywhere and needs to be taken very serious! Shout out to the first responders and volunteers working through the night to rescue people and make sure roadways are safe to travel!
