We would like to advise the residents of Golden City Fire District not to do any burning until we get much needed rain fall. We have respond to some grass/brush fires that are spreading very quickly. Also remember if something does get out of hand do not hesitate to call 911!

The Golden City Fire Department would like to wish our deepest sympathy to our Fire Chief-Eric White with the loss of his mother. We all knew Mama White and she was well loved thru out the fire house. She will be missed by all and our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family during the loss of there loved one.

We would like to congratulate all the winners of the raffles we done and also thank everyone who participated and the ones that donated so we could do it thank you for all the support during golden harvest days!

The department would like to let the community know we will be set up Friday and Saturday at Golden Harvest Days. We have several raffles going on that we will draw for Saturday evening. We will have our annual Homemade Ice Cream for Donations. We will also be setting up with fresh made Cheeseburgers, All Beef Hot Dogs, Nachos, Cold Sodas, and Desserts! We can't wait to see everyone!

JUST AN FYI: LIBERTY HAS FOUND THE PROBLEM AND IS IN THE PROCESS OF REPAIRING IT. WITH THAT BEING SAID EVERYONE WHO CURRENTLY HAS ELECTRICITY, IT WILL BE GETTING SHUT OFF TO DO THE REPAIR. UNABLE TO GIVE YOU A TIMELINE FOR THIS.
