Golden Valley's DEI Commission will host a free community forum on multicultural democracy Thursday, July 16, 6:30 to 8 pm at Brookview. Learn the principles of multicultural democracy, explore local civic applications, and discuss the values that shape government and community decision-making. Learn what the disease is, what it’s like to live with it, and how to communicate with people diagnosed with dementia. Attendees are asked to turn their new understanding of dementia into practical action to help someone living in the community.

There is no threat to the public. The Golden Valley Police Department is assisting the Three Rivers Park District with their investigation.
