Wildland Crew Deployment – Frijoles Fire, New Mexico
Please join us in supporting Engine Boss B. Abraham, Firefighter Type 2 E. Martin, and Firefighter Type 2 J. Hopkins as they deploy to New Mexico to assist with the Frijoles Fire.

🚧 AROUND-THE-CLOCK RAMP CLOSURE ON WESTBOUND I-40 🚧

The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising Kingman area motorists of an upcoming closure at Andy Devine Avenue (Exit 53).

📅 Closure: 6:00 a.m. Monday, August 10, through 7:00 a.m. Monday, August 24
⛔ Location: Westbound I-40 off-ramp at Andy Devine Avenue
➡️ Detour: Drivers will be directed to Stockton Hill Road (Exit 51)

The closure is necessary as crews continue work on an 11-mile pavement preservation project between Holy Moses Wash and Rattlesnake Wash, from mileposts 47 to 58.

Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution through the work zone, and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

Semi truck went over the guardrail at the 27mm on I-40 west bound. Drivers will be OK. No hazardous materials. He was hauling chicken. The Bnsf lines will be down for a little while as the truck is sitting on top of both of them.

Starting today May 21, 2026 @ 0800 hours Mohave County will be in a burn ban. All burn permits will be on hold and no open fires such as camp fires are allowed. Charcoal cooking is permitted in a UL approve BBQ only. Mohave County has approved Arizona ground based fireworks over the 4th of July.
