What a wonderful evening celebrating inclusion, community, and the incredible work happening across our community at the 26 Weeks of Giving Celebration. J-HAP was honored to be recognized as one of this year’s grant recipients, and we are incredibly grateful for the support.

One of the highlights of the evening was watching three of our Special Olympics athletes proudly accept the award on behalf of J-HAP. Watching them represent our community with such pride and joy was a beautiful reminder of why this work matters.

One of our favorite seasons at Cornerstone Creek has officially returned. Our tenants are back in the garden planting, learning, and enjoying everything that comes with growing together. From the planting to harvesting, this garden creates so much more than vegetables, it builds skills, connection, confidence, and community.

What a special evening for our community. The City of Golden Valley recognized Abby, Allie, and Lucy tonight with a proclamation honoring them as Special Olympic athletes, athlete ambassadors, and community leaders.

We are so proud of their accomplishments, leadership, and the positive impact they make in our community. Wishing them continued success as they represent Minnesota at the Special Olympics USA Games in June. Congratulations Abby, Allie, and Lucy — your community is cheering you on!
