Your Weekend in Golden - we're beginning our slow roll into autumn!

Friday, August 28: Lookout Mountain Full Moon Ride – Sturgeon Moon 🚵‍♀️
• Starting at 9:00 p.m., this free community ride up Golden's Lookout Mountain (front and rear lights required) under the glow of a full moon is a great way to pedal off into the weekend.

Saturday, August 29: Denver Taiko 50th Anniversary- Keio Kairai 🥁
• Starting at 7:00 p.m., see a special performance from the community-based group, Denver Taiko, who share the art of Japanese drumming. This special 50th anniversary show is 'Honoring the Past, Shaping the Future'. The show will be at Colorado School of Mines Bunker Auditorium, 924 16th St., Golden.

Sunday, August 30: Yoga with Rise at the Eddy Lawn 🧘‍♀️
• Starting at 8:00 a.m., this Fit Flow class is free and open to members of the public and Eddy guests. Get a full body workout on the beautiful Eddy Lawn! Participants are required to sign a waiver and bring their own mats.

The next Golden Hour MashUp is Wednesday, September 16, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. all over Golden. Businesses from north to south, downtown and all around, are partnering to bring special menus, deep discounts, and fun activations for the whole family.

The theme for this month's is Where the West Lives. Rock your favorite Western attire, boots, or whatever strikes your fancy.

Got Saturday morning plans? Now you do 🐐

The City of Golden's highly popular baby goat yoga experience still has a few slots available, but you better hop on them before they get scooped!

The class is from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, in Lions Park. After 45 minutes of yoga, you'll have 15 minutes of one-on-one bonding time with the babies, and an opportunity to bottle feed them.

Registration is only open through tonight, so hurry!

The Splash at Fossil Trace closes their leisure pool by end of day on this Sunday, August 16.

Their leisure pool also features a play structure, small water slides, spray fountains, and a 500-gallon dump-bucket called the “Tipper.” Golden is expecting a bit of weather this weekend, so check the forecast, and use those pockets of sunshine while we got em!
