Klickitat County has entered into Contracts CRP 376, CRP 377 & CRP 378 to repair various bridges throughout Klickitat County. The bridge decks will be lifted off the abutments to replace the bearing pads, requiring temporary closures. Below are the locations and times of the temporary bridge closures:

Did you know that traffic safety involves more than roadway conditions and characteristics? Driver behavior is a larger contributor to accidents in Klickitat County. Between 2014 and 2024, 21% of fatal and serious injury accidents involved alcohol impairment, 17% involved speeding and 17% were attributed to inattention or distracted driving.

Klickitat County Public Works would like to remind drivers to not drive impaired, always obey traffic laws and avoid distractions while operating a motor vehicle.
