Goldonna Area Fire Protection District 2 Our fire department, located in Natchitoches Parish, is comprised entirely of dedicated volunteer men and women, and we are proud to hold a Class #5 rating.

The next monthly Board Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9th at 7:00 PM, and will be held at the Goldonna Station. Individuals interested in joining our team of volunteers are encouraged to attend this meeting to complete an application.

Volunteer Qualification Requirements:

1. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
2. A valid driver's license is required.
3. A clean background check is generally necessary, with exceptions subject to Chief approval.

STRUCTURE FIRE

At approximately 2048 hrs. NPFD #2 were dispatched to Pine St. in Goldonna in reference to a structure fire. Units arrived on scene to find a vacant residence as well as a camper both fully involved and on the ground.

SWEPCO was notified.

Units remain on scene. There are no injuries reported.

We had a blast putting our trucks in the Christmas parade this evening! It was great to see everyone out, and of course seeing Santa made it even better! A huge thank you to our neighboring department Ashland Fire District 8 for coming out and participating in the festivities along side of us!
