-A Day in the Life at Wayne STEM Academy 🍂

🍂 Fall is in the air, and our scholars are leaning into learning!

Scholars arrive with big smiles and cozy jackets, ready for the day.

Then we dive into hands-on science experiments, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Our classrooms are buzzing with curiosity.

To end the day we head outside for fresh air, friends, and a little autumn fun.

We love watching our scholars grow, explore, and shine every single day. Here’s to a season full of learning! 🍁

What are some exciting things your family is doing to celebrate fall in Wayne county this weekend?

Family & Community Partnerships
Scholars vs. Dr. Forgette: The Gaga Pit Showdown
Your support built the pit, and this week our scholars put it to the test!

This summer, our WSA community came together to raise funds for a brand-new outdoor play area, including a gaga pit. This week, a class of scholars took on Dr. Forgette himself to see if they could take down the man in charge. 🐾

It was a close call, and every scholar had a blast!

Thank you, WSA families and sponsors, for making this space possible. Because of you, our scholars have more room to move, play, and belong.

🎉 We did it — one month down, and an exciting month it's been!

Our first weeks back came with its fair share of challenges, and we're so proud of how our staff, students, and families pulled together to work through them. Thanks to that teamwork, we've had an incredible first month of school.

We also want to take a moment to publicly thank our School Board for the thoughtful letter they sent our team during that first week. Their encouragement and support meant so much to us as we got the year off the ground, and it's a reminder of how lucky we are to have a Board that shows up for its schools.

Here's to a fantastic year ahead! 🍎📚

Community | First Day of School — Off to a Great Start

Day One: In the books! 🎉

Carline ran smooth. Breakfast was served with a smile. Lunch and recess were full of laughter. And in every classroom, our scholars dove headfirst into learning — curious, focused, and ready to grow.

None of that happens by accident. It takes a village of teachers, staff, and families all pulling in the same direction — and today, WSA Wildcats, you showed up for each other.

Here's to a school year full of connection, contribution, and capability. We're just getting started!

School Spirit | Gaga Ball Standings — 2nd Grade takes the crown!

🥇 IT'S OFFICIAL: 2ND GRADE ARE YOUR GAGA BALL CHAMPIONS! 🥇

The count is in, Wildcats.

Every grade competed for the most scholars on the court, and 2nd Grade brought the most players.

🥇 2nd Grade: CHAMPIONS
🥈 3rd & 4th Grade: tied for 2nd
🥉 Kindergarten & 1st Grade: right on their heels

Every single grade showed up and competed hard for this one. Thank you to the surrounding community as well!

That's the "We do more!" energy we love to see.
