Mar-Mac Volunteer Fire Department, along with Arrington Volunteer Fire Department, were dispatched automatic aide to assist Dudley Volunteer Fire Department with a working structure fire in the 100 block of Potts Road. Mar-Mac Engine 6 arrived on scene and was assigned to protect exposures on the C “Charlie” side of the structure. Engine 6 deployed a 250 foot 1 3/4 inch attack line. Mar-Mac Tanker 1 arrived and supplied water to Dudley Engine 3. Mar-Mac Tanker 1 then went to Outlaw Road and Old Mount Olive Highway and set up a full site for tankers. Tanker 1 was then assigned to supply water to Mar-Mac Engine 6. Mar-Mac Tanker 1 supplied approximately 6,000 gallons of water to the scene. Mar-Mac Rescue 15 arrived and supplied manpower. Mar-Mac QRV-15 brought water and drinks for rehab operations. It’s always great to work so well with our neighboring departments. Everyone did a great job!!!
