Thank you to everyone who attended one of our Open House events! It was wonderful to welcome both returning and new families, and we look forward to an outstanding school year. We are excited to see everyone on the first day of school, Monday, August 10.

Reminder for sixth-grade families: Students should follow the individual school supply list provided by their teachers to ensure they have everything they need for a successful start to the school year.

If you are interested in playing middle school sports, we will be using DragonFly to manage athletic eligibility. All sports physicals and required participation forms must be submitted through DragonFly before students can participate.

Attached are step-by-step instructions for creating a DragonFly account and submitting the required documents.

Students who already have a current sports physical on file may pick up a hard copy during Open House to upload to DragonFly.

Update: The application deadline has been extended to Aug. 5.

The City of Goldsboro’s Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the Mayor’s Youth Council through July 31. The Goldsboro Mayor’s Youth Council is open to all local high school students, to include area private schools and home-schooled students.
