What a wonderful afternoon at ECA international day!

A huge thank you to the Nahunta club for hosting such a meaningful event as we learn more about the history, culture, and traditions of Russia.

We were especially honored to hear from our guest speaker. Margo Smith, who was born in Russia and lived there until she was 21 years old. Her personal stories and experiences made the presentation so memorable for everyone attending.

It was a great day, filled with learning, conversation, and appreciation for cultures around the world. 🇷🇺

The crafts were fun, but the best part was coming together to give back. They spent time collecting donations for the Leadership Wayne Blessing Box project. It was a meaningful day of creativity, generosity, and community.

Every year, ECA members come together for their Bunny Lovies Project, sewing blankets for newborn and premature babies for UNC Wayne. This year, they created 100 handmade blankets to help welcome the smallest members of our community. We truly appreciate all of our ladies for their hard work! 🐰

Today, the Extension & Community Association gathered for our Annual Achievement Luncheon, celebrating a year of impact, growth, and service. ❤️

With the theme “Kindness: The Heart’s Best Medicine,” we reflected on last year’s accomplishments, presented awards, and announced the winners of this year’s Cultural Arts Contest, honoring the creativity and talent within our organization.

We were grateful to have Dalton Dockery, Ginger Moore, Eddie Pitzer, Sandra Head, Michelle Estrada, and members of the Wayne County Board of Commissioners in attendance as we celebrated together.
