🚑💚 Wayne County EMS Visits Meadow Lane Elementary! 💚🚑

Our EMS team had a great time visiting Meadow Lane Elementary for Public Safety Training! Students got an up-close look at an ambulance, learned about EMS equipment, and discovered how we help keep our community safe.

Thank you, Meadow Lane Elementary, for welcoming us! We love connecting with our community and educating the next generation! 💚🖤

Training never stops with us solely. It goes beyond the ambulance and requires training with our fellow first responders. While we as well never want to encounter this type of situation, we must prepare and train for everything.

While the fair was cut short last weekend due to weather, it still made for a busy week for our bike team! We hope everyone had a great week at the Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair

Sending a big thank you to all first responder’s!! It takes a lot of dedication, patience and courage to do this job. No matter the call everyone is appreciated.

September is First Responders’ Appreciation Month. Last week, the City Council presented a proclamation honoring 911 operators and dispatchers, law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS technicians, search and rescue teams, and others in the public safety sector who maintain safety and order in times of crisis.

To all the first responders, thank you for all you do for our community!

Today is a day that will never be forgotten. In remembrance of 9/11, members of all agencies in and around Wayne County came together to participate in the 9/11 stair climb. Completing the stair climb is to give a glimpse of the hard work and dedication required from all first responders on 9/11 in order to save those that were trapped, unable to get to the bottom of the towers and to find those that succumbed to injuries sustained.

May we never forget those that sacrificed! 🇺🇸

Yesterday, Wayne County EMS Medic 4 and Engine 5 of Goldsboro Fire Department had the opportunity to hang out with the community at Walmart! A big thank you is in order to Walmart for giving us the opportunity to create a time for a more personal connection with the community, talk about safety, and show off our trucks to the children.
