In 2023, local elections will happen in many cities, towns, and counties across NC. Between the 2023 local elections and 2024 state-wide elections, there may be as many as 19 offices on your ballot!

County Commissioners pass local budgets that fund public services including public schools, law enforcement, as well as salaries for county workers. They also decide timing and amount of local bonds. Learn more about what's on your ballot at www.youcanvote.org/wob.
